Earlier today, the Pharmaceutical Society of Kenya (PSK), represented by Dr. Joe Kamau and <\/a>Dr. Myles G. Munroe<\/a>, was part of the landmark private sector launch of DMPA-SC in Kenya, an event signifying a shift in family planning access.

Community Pharmacies are not just points of sale, but crucial points of care, perfectly positioned to enhance access to essential services like family planning. Our pharmacists<\/a> are trusted community health providers, equipped and ready to deliver quality, client-centered services, including injectable contraceptives.

This launch of DMPA-SC in the private sector underscores a critical shift towards total market approaches and informed choice. It highlights the value of public-private collaboration and the continuous evolution of pharmacy practice, guided by forthcoming Good Pharmacy Practice (GPP) Guidelines.
